Comedian- Chris Pendleton

About Chris Pendleton

Comedian/musician Chris Pendleton began her stand-up comedy career in the usual way - while pursuing a Master’s in Biochemistry at the University of Georgia. After completing the degree and publishing her thesis, the runaway best-seller “Isolation and Sequencing of Two cDNA Clones Encoding Drosophila Chromosomal Protein D1” - now a major motion picture! - Chris immediately hit the road full-time as a comic. This signaled the end of a brilliant career in molecular genetics (many scholars argue this point). Chris has many network television appearances to her credit, including FOX’s Comic Strip Live, SHOWTIME Comedy Club Network, A&E’s An Evening At The Improv and Comedy On The Road, Lifetime’s Girls’ Night Out and VH-1’s Stand- Up Spotlight With Rosie O’Donnell. In addition, she regularly headlines at performing arts theatres, corporate events and comedy clubs throughout the United States and around the world. Originally from South Carolina, Chris now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she frequently performs in the casino resort showrooms. One of the most original comedy acts working today, Chris draws her razor-sharp material from a unique perspective and an amazingly diverse background. Breaking new ground for women in comedy, her show cuts across all the traditional gender boundaries, appealing to both men and women alike. Her surprising talent with the violin adds an additional “Jack Benny” dimension to her unique performance. Seamlessly blending hilarious stand-up comedy and fantastic music into a fresh, funny, one-of-a-kind show, Chris Pendleton is an unforgettable performer you won’t want to miss.
