About Tara Telford
I graduated from The University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics in 2012 and started working at Aviva Canada in 2013. During my 7 year career at Aviva Canada I worked in several different functions including Underwriting, Pricing, Data & Analytics, and Strategy. In 2020, I transferred to our Aviva Group head office in London, England, and am working in the Risk Function. My experience has included traditional actuarial roles and non-traditional actuarial roles, but I’ve been able to apply my actuarial knowledge and skillset across a broad range of opportunities. I have Actuarial designations in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA).
